Week 2 - The wizard school by Tyler

Once upon a time in a land far, far away in Libbleton there was a boy named John Sorrow. He had a dream of becoming a wizard like the famous wizard Oz TryHanko who was a magic wizard who could do all types of tricks.  Like pulling a monkey out of his hat just from saying wickaKakadu.  I know it's pretty amazing to watch and John had always wanted to go to his magic show but could never afford to as at the hundred and something dollars you have to be rich to afford something like that.  

One day Oz opened a wizard school and there was a competition.  In the competition you have to show how much you want to go to the school, so you had to write a letter.  John spent all night thinking about what he was going to write but then it came to him that he knew what he was going to write about.  He was going to write about how much he wanted to get into the school.  Silly John, he should have just thought about it in the first place that's what it said on the poster.

The day after John sent it in Wizard box which is a fast way of getting your mail to the wizard that you want to give it to.  A week later John got a reply from his letter that he sent to Oz TryHanko.   Opening the letter he did not know what to say to his parents as it was a dream come true.

Week 2 - Church by Ruby

David walked down the broken path leading to the old church; maybe he could get some peace and quiet in there. As he made his way up to the large mahogany doors he couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being watched. He turned around quickly to see if his suspicions were right but when he turned around he saw no one. He quickly walked into the church not wanting to stay out there any longer then he had to. Inside, the church was cold and damp; it was hard to imagine that this was a place of hope and happiness. But how would he know about hope and happiness?

Week 2 - Jasmine - hide and seek

I was at Scouts and we were playing hide and seek, I ran off in my own direction and found the best hiding place ever, it was behind this old run down caravan.

20 minutes went by and I was still not found, then I  the person that was in, I stood as still as possible. But he was coming towards me. How has he found me? Then he said “found you.” Was he talking to me or someone else?  I stood completely still,  hardly breathing. But he said it again. “I've found you came out.” So I got up and said.”how did you find me?” “I didn’t. I found Emma”  I looked behind me and saw Emma smiling. “Oh well how was I supposed to know.” I said.

“Strange they are our best soldiers but how would i know just send a recon team?.”said general blaze

“Um no sir ...i think they well died.”said turahk

“Impossible only one creature controlled by a warlord had defeated them and..”said blaze as he went into shock

“SIR ARE YOU ALRIGHT!.”said turahk

“Turahk… we are in deep trouble”said blaze

“WHAT”turahk replied

“Dread has returned, and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.”said blaze

“A mask?.”said turahk

“No, THE mask. The mask of creation.”said blaze

“Oh god!.”said turahk as he left to his quarters

Week 2 - Destroyer of eyes by Luke

“Stop watching the TV all day” said Mom, “ You are going to destroy your brain”. Then mom went on with a story I heard everyday. “ Because you will slowly rot your brain” In truth I was not listening at all instead I carried on focusing on the rugby match I was watching. It was USA 5 - 25 to the All Blacks. Suddenly mom changed tactics, She said “ If you are going to carry on watching TV all day then you are going to go blind like those people that you see when you go to school, because the TV hurts your eyes.” I turned of the TV as soon as mom said that. I did not want to be like those people I see. “Why did you not tell me?”

Hi i’m broco, long for broc, short for broccoli. I know what you're thinking,  “ i’m pretty awesome”

Yeah I know. Let me introduce you to my friends, this is tom, cauli and cab. Short for tomato,cauliflower and cabbage. We believe we are the most handsome and intelligent veggies because, well you know, we are the best of the best. Can’t get better than the old veggie quad squad over here. But how would I know.. Oh yeah i do know because I have a certificate on my wall proving it! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Week 2 - The Bombing By Matthew

                                                                  

I started walking down the road back home when a suspicious man shoved me out of the way and started running toward a huge skyscraper with what I thought looked a detonator for a bomb but how would I know. Later on I saw him go up to another building with something, then he turned around and walked away like nothing had happened. I checked that spot on the wall and there was something on the wall. It WAS a bomb. I turned and saw the man standing there. I looked at him in shock, all he did was flick a switch on his detonator and the city went into chaos.
