Luke - As he lifted me up

Woof woof some pick me up and buy me I’m a man best friend. We are open for the first time and I’m next to my teddy friend his name is ted. He likes to cry like a baby when the shop closed for night. The next day some posh people are looking for a teddy bear for there kids. They look at me and turn back and buy my worst enemy in the shop and its horses, soon after I’m so happy but sad I’m happy because horses is gone but sad because no one picked me up the next day I get picked up.

Riley - I looked through the window

As I walked past this shop something caught my eye.  The shop was Harleys. It was the most amazing toy shop.  At the very back of Harleys was a small door.  It had ten locks on it!  I wondered what was in it.  Mum told me to hurry up.  ‘Five minutes’, I said.  I ran into the shop and tried to open the door.  The shop owner asked what I was doing.  I asked him about the door.  With a twinkle in his eye he said ‘wait til Christmas’.   That got me thinking, but I had to go Mum was calling for me.

Blake - THE RED CAR

Waiting, waiting and waiting.  Ready to be picked, but everyone keeps walking past me not even noticing me, looking at the other toys.  Have you guessed what I am?  I’m the red push car in the far left corner.  I’m the oldest toy.  Sometimes at night when everyone is asleep I drive in the middle of the shop in the pitch black crying and crashing into everything.  When I wake everyone up I quickly go back in my place and act like I’m sleeping.  Next morning I sat in my place waiting to be picked and I finally was.

Ruby - The Doll house

Have you ever looked into a shop window, saw something that you really liked
and you wanted it more than anything in the world?  Well that's just what
happened to me.
I was walking around the shops in town when I came across a toy shop one
that I had never seen before.  I walked past it but something caught my eye,
It was a little doll house.
It was a lovely old fashioned doll house with wood panels a little chimney
and old fashioned floral furniture.  I wanted it more than anything so I
asked for it for Christmas.  
Two weeks later on Christmas morning I went down stairs,  I looked for the
gift with my name on it, I unwrapped it and there it was, the little dolls
house.

Ben - The presents

There was once a little kid named Tom and he was really into toys a specially Christmasy toys he really wanted to get the ultra rear big Santa toy only found in the Harley's toy shop so at 6:30 in the morning he went to the store with his mummy and went and lined up for about 3 hours until the shop opened and straight away he zoomed into the shop to find it and he did the ultra rear big Santa toy or the urbst he bought it for about 1'000 pounds when he got home found out that it could talk and walk but in a year it broke because he accidentally dropped it.

Its two days before cristmas and everyone is rushing in to get toys for there children.At night you see children with there parents looking throught the window.I see all my friends getting brought but not me.Barbie,Ken,Mr and Mrs potato head basically everyone but not me.Until one day when a little girl came and looked at me but then she went.Then guess what five minutes later she came back to show her mum and guess what SHE BROUGHT ME!!!!.I went home with her to be wrapped up to be given to someone.I was missing the toy store alot.I woke up to be back in the toy store getting returned!!!.all my friends were there but i was the only timmy bum chum.

Brooklyn - Christmas!

One day i was walking past with my dog and i saw a Christmas shop i saw all these really cool toys. So i went and sat down on a bench with my dog and  i watched people  walk bye until there  was this one family that stop and looked through the window. They looked through the window for about 2 minutes and i could see this little girl pointing at this one toy it looked like an animal  to me but i was not sure. After they went inside i went up to the window to look at the toy that the little girl was looking at.......it was a camel and its name was Samel.

Kaitlyn - A Dream Come True!

I pull on my maroon jacket and my boots, with my beanie on I set out for a slow and cold walk to Nana's.

As I shuffle along fresh fallen snow, I think about how boring this long walk is going to be. But then my face lights up, I realise that we always pass the Toy shop. I pick up my pace and then I see it, Harley's Toy Shop, the one place I always wish to be. Then my eyes set on: Chestnut fur, big round ears, amber eyes, yes! I found it, a big, loving, TEDDY BEAR!

Sarah - My first magical kiss.

 Can you think of a time when you thought your first kiss will be magical?  Well mine was romantic.  I’m in the toy shop with my little poodle Rudolph looking for a Christmas present.  I stop to put on fresh ruby red lipstick when a toy truck hits me in the ankle.  I continue walking around, my ankle throbbing, my eyes fixed on my cell phone. Suddenly I bump into a tall dark haired guy Carrying some boxing and our lips accidentally kiss. We both blush, my breath is gone, and I think have a new love.

There was a big car in the toy shop that I wanted. But my dad said no and I kept moaning at him and I still did not get it. Then my dad saw a plane and he wonted it but my mum said no but he did not moane he just waited and waited and he got it. I was just like what?? So we went in and paid, it was $700 dollars it was so much but he still got it and mine was $3.00 dollars it was so unfare but when he got home it broke.

Tylar - The magic toy shop

One day I went to a toy shop, but it was no ordinary toy shop it was “magic”. I walked inside and saw heaps of toys walking driving and flying around. I picked up a cool plane and asked my parents if I could get it. They said yes and I can also pick one more. So I went back to the toys and started to choose, do I want the massive toy car or do I want the huge doll house. Quite a hard decision so ill take the... toy Santa, cause I want more presents.

Toucan and spoon bill looked up at the big picture in front of them.

"Why do they advertise like this, I mean it isn't even Christmas yet!" The billboard had recently been put up in the middle of the green gates field, where toucan and spoonbill like to meet up. "Wait a second that's that toy shop around the corner, you know the one that is always aglow with Christmas lights!, the one that has a bright blue sign with purple writing spelling 'Harleys', and it has a realistic picture of the family at the front."

"Oh that shop." With that settled they flew away.

It was Easter morning and all of the kids in the neighbourhood were happy that morning. That afternoon they weren’t so happy because they hadn’t found any of the chocolate rabbits. Then one of the kids had something glaring into his eyes so he looked up to see what it was and all of the chocolate was on the roof but they didn’t know how to get up there. One of the parents got them a ladder and when they finally got up their biggest chocolate rabbit melted in the sun. At lest they had the other chocolate rabbits to eat.

Erana - Chocolate Sale

I hurried up the step concrete steps as little kids were having a easter chocolate sale.

i had my eye on the chocolate rabbit that melted in the sun.

I was wishing the sun would go away and the long narrow line would shorten so that the chocolate rabbit would stop melting and i could get to it faster.

One chocolate after another the rabbit was still there until a little girl picked it up and handed it to someone else.

The line eventually got smaller and it came to my pick there was only one chocolate rabbit left so i chose that one.

they handed it to me and it broke in my hands.

Blake - the chocolate factory

In a little town, a chocolate factory opened.  The sun would shine in the front window.  Every single day they would have a different chocolate.  On Mondays, plain chocolate.  On Tuesdays, caramel chocolate.  On Wednesdays, crunchie bars.  On Thursdays they had chocolate rabbits, but nothing on Fridays.  It was closed.  After a year it was open on Fridays.  I went in that day and asked what they were selling this morning.  The man quickly went down under the shelf and brought out the last chocolate rabbit.  He said to me “ You can have it for free”, as the chocolate rabbit had melted in the sun.

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you,” sang Mono, not knowing it was really his birthday, but no-one told him, so he went to school.  He thought he had had an awesome day at school for some reason, so he walked home when he got there he opened the door and “Surprise, happy birthday!” yelled his family and friends, but he was confused, in just one second he remembered.  After he gave everyone a hug they gave him his presents one of them he got a chocolate bunny.  The next day the chocolate bunny melted in the sun.

Rex took off happy to be running through the paddock by his house.  He was on the way to the beach.  Rex heads for Maxs car
"Can i please have a chocolate rabbit?"
"ok they are only $1 today!"
"Awsome and now can i please have an icecream to?"

Thanks see you tomorrow as Rex waved to Max.  Rex starts to eat the icecream and puts the chocolate rabbit in his pocket. Then Rex sees his
mate Cameron.
"Hi Rex what are you doing?"
They chat for a while  then Rex reaches in to his pocket and finds his chocolate rabbit has melted in the sun.

All sorts of food but vegetables oooo.  Everybody hates them, the most unliked food in my opinion.  I would rather eat the chocolate rabbit melted in the sun out side my house that the cat licked,maybe not.  Still who wants to eat a small tree or broccoli. I can go on all day but well just think. there are good for you.  They are not going to kill you so really, just suck it up and eat the little tree you might find you like them.  YEA,NA

Its 8am in the morning, the sun is shining on my cold window sill. As I open my eyes slowly I remember yes, ITS EASTER!!!!!!!! I scramble down the stairs and out the door. I see them EVERYWHERE………….. EGGS…… and ………. CHOCOLATE RABBITS!!!!!!  My heart is pounding out of my chest I'm so excited i grab all the eggs and rabbits as I can. I run back upstairs and put them on my duchies, run downstairs to have some weetabix and then go to my room. when get there the chocolate rabbit melted in the sun oh well I say to myself.

I was walking down the street with only $5.00 in my pocket.
Then my eyes caught a sign, reading the words in the name of " Candy shop, where you spent your money on junk". That's just what I need. I open the door hearing the bell ring, and up comes a man wearing a bunny suit. Ok this is a bit creepy. The man said in a old fragile voice " come on girl I don't have all day ".
I go to the window and see chocolate and the chocolate rabbit melted in the sun.
The man followed me and then screamed " OH MY, MY RABBIT he was so young".

Caitlin - Disappointed.

Through my closed lashes a bright glimpse caught my eye.
I sat peacefully until suddenly I remembered.
It was Easter, A pleasant breeze was blowing aimlessly as I ran outside
The sweet smell of flowers cut through the soft scent of the morning's dewy grass.
I sprint over to the other end of my lawn, perched in the large oak tree was the most divine chocolate I have ever laid eyes on.
Seconds later, I stumble back to my room and place the chocolate onto my bed.
Hours later, I sprint back to my room to find that the chocolate rabbit melted in the sun.

The chocolate rabbit melted in the sun.  It was the last chocolate left in
the annual Easter egg hunt.
Nobody had found it.  The kids where getting tired as the hot sun beat down
on them.  No one wanted to carry on.
"Come on kids there's still one more rabbit to find and it's the biggest",
said one of the mums.  Nobody cared, everyone just wanted to eat the
chocolate that they already had.
The day past by and still nobody found the chocolate rabbit, it sat there
waiting.  All the kids were busy playing, some even started going home.
What will happen to the bunny?   Will it get found later on or will 
it rot or dissolve...

Luke - the funniest day ever

Yay its Easter we’re going to the lakes and going bisciting and that’s so fun and heaps of other fun stuff on the water. Now we are going into the beach to play football . and other game. We just went fishing two it was so fun and I caught a lot of fish with my cozions. And now where all walking up to my friends batch. We are at our friends batch playing   rugby. Nikita - The nightmare

It was easter morning and the sun was shining bright right onto the fridge which was a disaster waiting to happen…

Me and my sister are always happy to get chocolate on easter morning like everyone does.My sister and I had a sleep in because we just had our 2 year old neice come up for 2 weeks.We woke up at 11 just enough time to have our chocolate before lunch.We ran down the stairs and waited for our chocolate,mum reached up to on top of the fridge and felt for the bunnys but...they had melted in the sun!! Its everyone's worst nightmare as the warehouse was closed shops were closed EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED and you were stuck with a melted rabbit which had melted in the sun.what a bad why to celebrate easter…

There was once a bunny called bob and he was very active and bouncy he wouldn't stop bouncing.  He hops round the meadow each day for an exercise.  One night he went on a jog it was very dodgy there were a lot of gunmen out there looking for us and I was out there running, one of the gunmen saw and took a shot and he got me in the right leg when each rabbit gets shot they turn to a chocolate rabbit I was forming to chocolate. In the afternoon the next day I was in the field and the people in the farmhouse saw a chocolate rabbit melting in the sun.

Anna - Eggcellent Easter

My eyes blinked open and closed when suddenly I remembered. It was Easter! I ran outside onto my lush lawn to see what the Easter bunny had got me this year. To my astonishment my whole lawn was covered in all types of divine chocolate. Abruptly I saw the most colossal chocolate Easter bunny hidden in with the blueberry trees. I ran over and snatched it out of its place and took it into my room to have for later. An hour later I came into my bedroom and to my dismay the chocolate rabbit had melted in the sweltering sun!

Kaitlyn - the hot day

A huge wave of heat smacks me in the face as I open the front door.
I step into the sun and I begin my run with a small jog.
As I pass masses of trees and clusters of small wilting flowers I realise how hot it really is.
Minutes go by as I slowly complete my circuit around the neighbour hood.
When I get home I stumble through the back door just to hear Mum shout out:” Nana left a chocolate rabbit for you.” I shuffle to the kitchen to find that the chocolate rabbit melted in the sun!

Dom - the melted rabbit

The chocolate rabbit melted in the sun. At Easter time we go down to my Grandads batch. We do an egg hunt around the house, the eggs were hiding behind the trees and bushes. We got heaps of eggs and chocolate. I decided to put my eggs on the window sill in my bedroom. This is why my chocolate rabbit melted in the sun. I decided to put the chocolate on my book shelf. My cat ate all of my chocolate and the next day he was dead. I was so sad for the whole day he was the best cat I the whole world.

It was morning. One of the best mornings of the year. Easter! I excitedly jumped out of bed the condensation on the windows blocked my view of the day, but I could tell that the day was sure to be cold. I soon made my way outside only to discover a huge, chocolate, bunny. It’s shiny, colourful tinfoil made the rays form the sun shine into my eyes. But that didn’t matter. Riley - The Birthday party

It was my 10th birthday! I was having a huge party. I was having so much fun. My party was at the beach and it was a very sunny day.  We had cake, lollies and a lot more. It really was the best birthday ever!!! My cake was a huge, yummy chocolate rabbit.  After swimming in the sea for quite a while we had the food.  It tasted great.  And the cake of course was the best tasting cake ever. Then we went back into the sea.  After a very long swim everyone went home.  As we drove away I could still see the chocolate rabbit melted in the sun.

Once upon a time there was a little choco-holic, he loved chocolate so much that every day he went and bought some. He heard rumours about a thing called easter when your parents buy you chocolate and you eat it. Little Johny was excited because it was tomorrow. The next day he falls out of bed puts on his clothes with chocolate smudged all over it, he walks to his parents and shouted WHERE’S MY CHOCOLATE! Madison - Chocolate bunny

One day I was walking down the street. Then I saw a chocolate bunny for 1$ I got it then I went home and put the bunny in the sun. The chocolate bunny melted in the I went back in the kitchen and there was a melted chocolate everywhere. It had got on the floor it was hard to get off the floor and the table once I got it off the floor and the table. I saw some on the dish washer. I could not get it off the dish washer I try again it worked. By the I needed something to eat.

Alyssa - Easter time

It was a crisp frosty morning at the bird sanctuary. All the birds were being fed special bird seeds because it was Easter morning. Later on there was supposed to be a Easter egg hunt for the little kids that turn up at the sanctuary. All the eggs were spread out evenly and were hidden in each birds sanctuary. Toucan looked at the chocolate treat. He flew away while the chocolate rabbit melted in the sun. Later on he flew back, the chocolate treat was still standing there. He walked over and took a bite, that was a mistake, when the keeper got back she was angry!
