Week 4 - My Morning walk by Lucy


I walk swiftly down the rough concrete path, with the moon as my only light to guide me. I skip to the end of the wharf and sit down on the edge. A firefly was buzzing in front of me, burning my eyes. I dip my feet in the cold water. The water was sparkling with the moonlight. I stared into the water and it turned green. This was my only escape to clear my mind. I grab my phone out of my pocket and turn it on. It was 5.32 am and the sun was about to rise. I could see the sun shining, out of the tips of the mountains from below. I do this every day but nobody knows. It’s my little secret
