Jordan - The Shark

As the sun came out the fish came out and as the fish came out the fishermen came out. And cam was fortunately one of the fishermen. One fisherman that just came in on a boat said that there was a bull shark tallying his boat. So cam told the rest of the guys and girl so most of them got out there big hooks and bait and so did cam. Cam saw a dorsal fin pop up about 100 metres away so he quickly threw the bait out. He waited and waited and waited, but one of the other fishermen caught the shark.

Maddison - Dream

We were walking on the beach it was about 5am. He sat his phone on a log and played my favorite song and asked me for this dance and of course I said yes.  Omg looking into his eyes made me feel like I was dreaming. After the dance we sat down on the old broken log and talked and talked and talked then the sun came up it shone upon the still water and made the sand sparkle I felt like it was a dream, ”beep,beep,beep”goes my alarm only if it wasn't a dream...

As the sun came out one morning I was starting to dread the day ahead.

Today was school speeches.  “ Such fun” I think sarcastically in my head.

Riley - As the sun came up

I woke up as the sun was coming up. It was so bright.  It blinded me! There was a car racing towards our house really fast. I started running out of my house. I didn’t want to be run over by a car, I turned around to see if the car was gone but it was coming straight for me, I kept on running but it just kept on coming. Tylar - The Moon Takes Over

Just another normal morning, getting ready for school 30 mins later I‘m ready. I got to school for 6 boring hours and finally got to go home. When I got home I did home work and games then it was night. As the sun came out... wait a minute where is the sun, soon the whole street came out mumbling confused wondering why there was no sun. I was starting to think we all had woken up in the middle of night with our clocks wrong, but no the sun got killed by the moon.

I was excited because I was doing a juggling competion. I was the 2nd  best in the world. There is this guy named Ben in my class, and he's so good but not better then me. He can juggle 8 balls in one hand, we are doing the competion in a stadium and the prize for the winner is a $1000 plane trip anywhere you like. We were juggling for 1 hour, it was the final,1 min left  to go, he got out and I kept going. I won! Now where to go on holiday?

Anna - As the sun came out......

I woke with a startle. I clawed my curtains and yanked them away from my view.  There was a LOUD banging coming from outside my window. I pondered what might be outside? A spaceship? An alien? Lightning? I cautiously lifted my alarmed eyes, but I couldn't see anything. It was pitch black outside. I sat down on my HARD chair and waited. As the sun came out it appeared to be a round brown ball. In the morning I went outside and cheeked what has shocked me so much but I couldn't go anywhere, the ground was covered in meatballs?!?!?!........

Ben - The lovely day out

As the sun came out on a lovely Saturday morning Kathryn was in bed looking forward to the day that she was going to have. The first exciting thing she was going to do was go biscuiting in her dads Yamaha boat then she was going to the beach and sunbath with her mum then later she was going to have a barbecue with all her wonderful friends. First the biscuiting it was so fun she was very frightened that she would fall off. Then to the sunbathing at the beach it was brilliant Kathryn got well tanned. Then for the barbecue Kathryn and her friends had a brilliant time and it went till 1:00 am and in my perspective it would have been a good day.

Luke - Mr Sun

As the sun come out the ray burns on my eyes and makes me blind so Can't see so I have to go to the hospital but they can do nothing about it. So they told me to go lie down on the couch but the sun was shining  there but he forces me to sit down there another ray of light comes and shine sin my eyes and it burns. but they can still do nothing about it. suddenly I fell on the floor and the doctor didn't even know. Did I die or did I survive.

Blake - as the sun came out

As the sun came out I was just making breakfast for the family when suddenly...the house started moving, I thought it was dad getting up then I heard dad yell.

Earthquake!!! I jumped under the table.  Every thing was breaking dishes, windows       pictures were falling off the walls you name it and it’s breaking.  After the                earthquake had stopped I crawled out from where I was hiding .I was scared there was dust and rubble everywhere I couldn’t see, but I could hear dad yelling!!! HELP HELP . I couldn’t get to him . I would have to get help and fast …

Alyssa C - The clumsy bird

When the sun came up the it glistened on the water brightly, fish smoothly glided through the water, ducks silently paddled, and the birds in the trees chirped like alarm clocks. One bird though was having trouble gliding through the water or singing the right note, let alone fishing, and that was spoonbill. He was definitely NOT the worlds smoothest fisher or the perfect singer, instead he was the worlds clumsiest spoonbill. He kept on knocking into his feathery friends and scaring away his scaly prey. Suddenly he found the biggest juiciest red crab EVER!! He lunged, and clumsily fell into his friends.

Brooklynn - Rabbit Island

As the sun came up i rubbed my eyes, I quickly jumped up and got dressed thinking i cant wait to go to the beach today and try out Granddads Contiki fishing thing. hoping that everyone else was up and getting ready to go, I had my breakfast and made sure my togs and towel were in my bag.  Everyone else was up and ready too. Off we went to Rabbit Island, it was amazing out there that early in the morning. We had the best time fishing and we caught 3 snapper and lots of seaweed. I love Rabbit Island.

Kaitlyn - True Happiness.

An eclipsed moon drifted wearily between the black clouds that covered the sky.

An eerie glow cast shadows through the trees that dotted the edge of the cliff.
The trees swayed as a light breeze ran through their wings.
Then all was silent. And all was still.
The summit of the cliff was barren apart from a small mound of dirt.
Suddenly, a shaft of light burst through the dark clouds creating an explosion of colour.

Pink, orange, and yellow, blended together making the perfect sunrise.

And as the sun came out, for the first time I felt true happiness.

One day after work I went on my computer and started watching a movie. Then I thought that movie was short then I start watching a movie then I went to bed as the sun came out. I got up but it was 1:00 in the morning so I went back to bed then I woke up at 6:00 then I realised I was late to work so I got in the car and rushed to work. When I got there the boss said I was late again then he said I had the day of tomorrow I was happy.

Kaitlyn - A bad discovery.

Thick red clay stuck to the soles of my shoes, sweat trickled off my nose like a waterfall, and as I came down to a clearing, I saw the most amazing sight.
I scrambled forward, excited by the species that I had found. A great herd of brown triceratops gathered around a lake. And as I hid between two bushes, my excitement left me, because a huge T-Rex stomped its way up to the water. I braced myself as It let out a deafening roar. I fell to the ground trembling. And from then on, I never heard anything again.

Caitlin - Thunderous Night

My family and I ate in our usual silence as my cat lay stretched out on the crawling rug by the fire.
From my closed lashes, I saw that my Mother was looking into the suburb. I looked to her for relaxation, but she didn’t seem to notice either one of us,
The thunder seemed to crack the silence beneath us. We stared anxiously out into the inky black sky, freckled with only the fewest stars.


Just when Alex’s eyes adjusted back to the TV, The thunder cracked another cry, the noise was deafening, as we all looked into the sky.

Jordan - lockdown

Sam was wondering around in the mall and looking at clothes and games and other stuff. And the mall immediately went into lockdown. And people were saying that there was a man with a gun outside so Sam went to see it for himself and Sam was looking out every window or something he could see through .after a little while he did see it for himself close up very close up and Sam was captured. About 10 20 minutes later the cops came and Sam was dragged to a van but the guy with the gun but he was shot and the sound was defining.

Maddison - the crazy party.

Boom, Crash, thud. The neighbours must be having a ball over there, a wild party perhaps, I think to myself. You could hear yelling, screaming, people setting off fireworks and lots of other stuff,  the noise was deafening. It got so bad that my cat rung the neighbours to asked them to be quiet, I know MY CAT??!?!?! But yeah anyway they finally settle down and I can get the sleep i want and NEED, BUT WAIT they turned up the music “well thanks” I yell out the window but no one heard me. Looks like this is going to be an all nighter.

Sam - world cup 2015

10 minutes to go in the rugby world cup New zealand vs Australia.  Australia is up 3-0 it looks dark for the All blacks.  5 minutes to go now we've lost all hope but then a turn over, the All blacks are pushing Australia back at the half the 10 and then the 22. It's 2 minutes and then Australia get a turn over they pass it through there back line then an intercept by Richie McCaw he's gonna go all the way HE SCORES!!!!  New zealand wins the crowd goes wild the noise was deafening.

Adam - Tornado

I was walking to my friends house in the rain. And a tornado siren went off, and the noise was deafening. So I ran as fast as I could to my friends house. When I got there we went down to the basement, while the tornado was passing. When we got back up half of the house was gone. Emergency services were everywhere. I quickly run to my house to see if my mum and dad were ok. But when I got there the whole house was destroyed. And then this basement door opened and my family came out.

ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE IN THE WORLD SITTING IN FRONT OF MY EYES.IT’S AS IF I CAN HEAR IT TALLKING TO ME. (EAT ME, EAT ME). ALL I CAN DO IS STAND THERE LOOKING AT ALL THAT CHOCOLATE. EVEN THOUGH THE EASTER BUNNY COULD JUST GIVE IT ALL TO ME IT GIVES IT TO THEM? I NEVER GET CHOCOLATE. BUT I GUESS THAT’S OK. BECAUSE I HAVE MY FAMILY AND MY FAMILY IS ALL I NEED.

Chavawn - A HORRIBLE NOISE

I have nine brothers and 4 sisters. They all love to shout and scream and talk really loudly. But you think that’s bad. They all have there birthday on the same day and its horrible. Every year it’s the same they get out of bed and wake me up with horrible noises. ‘It’s our birthday’! They shout. It’s such a horrible sound! But this year it was the worst it’s ever been. I woke up with the sound of all thirteen of them stamping and shouting. But they weren’t cheering for themselves they were cheering to me!

Riley - The Storm

It was a dark stormy night and I could hear the raindrops on the roof as I tried to get to sleep, The noise was deafening. I got out of bed to get a drink of ice cold water and there was a crack of noisy thunder. It scared me so much.  Startled by the noise, I spilled the water, slipped on the water and banged my head. I staggered back to my room fell on my bed and tried to get back to sleep.  But the noise kept going, the rain, thunder and lightning.

Erana - The birthday

"Its my birthday its my birthday" my brother kept singing it got annoying I felt like telling him to shut up but couldn't be rude to him on his birthday.

Every year since my brother turned 13 he had a missive party, which 100-200 people came to, the noise was deafening but I had to cope with it every year for 4 years.

All of the people at the party my brother didn't actually no but he new about 50 people but they listen to really loud rock music I annoys the heck out of me.

I should stop complaining and try and enjoy it this year.

Nikita - The train

One day my mum saw that there was a massive sale at the warehouse so we headed into town.

On our way in there is a railway and we were heading up to it when a truck got stuck!!!

The worse thing was there was a train on its way in!!

All we could do was sit in our car and hope for the best.

The train but on its emergency brakes and the The noise was deafening.

The train stopped just in time so that the truck driver didnt get hurt.

That was the scarist trip to the warehouse ever.

Luke - The consent

 I walked turned on the mike phone and stared singing and then I herd a big sound. The noise was deafening it was so loud and the crowd stared booing and It felt so in embussing. I was so sad and then I stared singing waiting for love and they stared cheering and I felt so happy like a bird flying in the sky. Then I went of the stage and watched the other people and at the prize giving they announced the places and I won and I went home and had a party it was so fun.

Te - The doll

The noise was deafening as I stomped up to my room with anger I walked up the stairs and a funny looking clown teddy was sitting on the corner of my bed and it all went silent!!! The lights flickered and the door slammed shut I thought I was a goner but the doll disappeared I tried to get out but the door was locked from the outside the lights flickered one more time accept the clown doll not being there it stood next to me with a huge grin. But it was just my drawing few.

There was once a legend that a doll was cursed. The room that the doll was in was quite vantage, and she sat on a chair looking down at the floor boards and looking sad. The doll had ginger hair, hanging down in pigtails, deep green eyes and wore a cute, dirty little red and white dress. Every time you looked at her rose lips they would be whispering "go away". But then before you have the chance to run away, the door would shut and she would scream "GO AWAY" and kill you in so many dreadful ways, the noise was deafening.

Anna - New Year’s Eve!

I quietly sat uncomfortably on our itchy rug trying to block my ears from the noise. It was New Year’s Eve and everyone was shouting out numbers from 10 to 1 for some reason, suddenly there was a bang it sounded like someone was shooting at us the noise was deafening! I looked at my mother for some comfort but she didn’t even notice me, she was staring mesmerized at the sky. I slowly lifted my eyelashes to see what she was so transfixed by. It was the most beautiful scene I had ever seen! Showers of pink and all different colours started to fall onto us like snowflakes at Christmas.
