Gemma and her father were setting fishing nets. When suddenly the wind picked up and without warning the still waters became white with froth and the boat rocked uncontrollably. A colossal wave crashed down onto the boat and sent Gemma into the choppy waters. Her life flashed before her eyes and she realised if she didn’t survive she would become a professional dancer. As the sun came up she started swimming slowly back to shore. She turned back to the wreckage but she knew she was likely to never see her father again. As her eyes adjusted Gemma looked up and saw the red and green lights of her town
