Dear Diary,

Today was so much easier to rescue people!!! Guess why? Because we finally got to use the new backpacks with wings!! It was waaaaaaay easier than having to get the ladders, putting them in the right position then climbing all the way up to the top, running into the house, grabbing the people and taking them down the ladder, and risking your life also theirs. All of the firefighters got to houses so much faster and guess what!? We saved 1,249 lives! And that was only today!!! I’m going to go to sleep now, I’m exhausted from saving all those people!
