“Stop watching the TV all day” said Mom, “ You are going to destroy your brain”. Then mom went on with a story I heard everyday. “ Because you will slowly rot your brain” In truth I was not listening at all instead I carried on focusing on the rugby match I was watching. It was USA 5 - 25 to the All Blacks. Suddenly mom changed tactics, She said “ If you are going to carry on watching TV all day then you are going to go blind like those people that you see when you go to school, because the TV hurts your eyes.” I turned of the TV as soon as mom said that. I did not want to be like those people I see. “Why did you not tell me?”

ReplyDeleteHi Luke, You know what? I'm a mum and I always say to my eleven year old boy - 'Moms are always right'. However, reading this, I'm not too sure!! Great use of the prompt and nice use of punctuation. Well done - great work.
