The sun was beating down on me, I felt terribly ill. My heart was pumping, my skin was sticky, and my body was sore. Yet, I still ran, it felt like my legs were on automatic. It hurt so bad to just keep breathing, every breath was just another chance of collapsing. I try not to look ahead of me, it would just be another problem. Instead I question my thoughts. My mind wanders around the place, it was hard to focus since my chest was clenched tight. I looked up from my feet, I could see the finish line, then, I collapsed and thought;
“Running really does suck.”

Hi Abby, I really enjoyed your story and really like your adjective clenched. I think you could use a bit more adjectives.By Xanthea.
