It has been 5 years since the 7.2 canterbury earthquake and I still remember it as if it happened yesterday. I was in a deep sleep. In my dream the floor shook but as it got more violent I became more conscious. All of a sudden I woke up with a jolt, my bed was shaking, it was an earthquake. In the morning we all curled up on my parent’s bed and listened to the radio. They were talking about a road and instead of just cracking, it had curled up like a tsunami.
