Week 10 -Fat by Ruby

Hanna rubbed her tired eyes as she groggily made her way out of bed. Slowly she made her way to the white dresser on the other side of the room. She stared at herself in the mirror, her lips were cracked and her cheeks stained with tears. She sighed and picked her hairbrush up off her dresser and slowly brushed her thinning ash brown hair.

She placed the hairbrush back down on the dresser and continued to look at herself in the mirror. She pulled at the “fat” around her thighs and stomach sighing as she did so. Though Hanna had a gaunt figure she still thought of herself as fat.

She stared in disbelief silently crying “why am I so fat?”

  1. Very dark story but I liked it. Very good detail in all the sentences.

  2. Hi ruby
I like how you have used paragraphs because this makes it easier to read. You have detailed sentences which is also great. By Caitlin
