The
sun drowned in the horizon, its rays of light scintillating in the darkness of
the night. The elegant splashes of pink and red puffy clouds captivated me, with their beauty and
tranquillity. Heading home, I shuffled along the frigid lush grass, my feet
getting colder by the minute. Suddenly I tripped over an adamantine wooden time
capsule. As I lifted the lid dust enveloped me
like a warm dressing gown. Inside there
were 12 letters all addresed to Elizabeth McItyre. I skim read one of the
tattered letters and realised it was from WW1. Then it hit me Elizabeth
McIntyre was the name of my grandma….
