Week 6, Term 1 - the frozen conversation by Matthew

As hard and as still as concrete, the statues have been silently talking for years. A manager was talking to his chef employee about a job promotion. The cook went still. The manager was about to rethink his idea but the cook didn’t jump up and down he didn’t do anything to celebrate. The manager was almost worried about the chef but then he realized that somehow both him and the chef were literally stunned in silence and neither of them moved until this day, people built marble around them to symbolize the fact that they are the longest people to not move in history.

  1. Dear Matthew,
I really enjoyed your 100 w/c. It was very good the way you made it about an ancient meeting that took place long ago. You have done a great story. This is a link to my story
