Week 6, Term 1 - Statues by Danny

They were being followed, chased through the desert sprinting towards the coast where they could find cover in the trees, but the trio were still losing ground. A wooden spear with a stone point flew past them missing by just centimeters.

They could now see the coast with huge palm trees growing up to nine metres. They were only one hundred meters away from the cover of trees and bush. Only fifty metres now, ten, five. They blasted into cover and found a good hiding place, they stayed there as still as statues not daring to move a muscle. They are still in the same place today.

  1. Hi Danny.
    I loved your story.
It reminds me of the museum.
We're they actually in the museum.
Try and use some adjectives so the reader has an image in their head.
    Keep up the great work.
