It was scorching hot at the beach we had played football, swam and now we were soaking up the sun with a sweet orange-flavoured ice cream.
There was a silence, the sky went black and a bolt of lightning struck accompanied by some thunder. We bolted for the van and went home as fast as we could, turned on the T.V and got into our pyjamas.
We had a great time not doing much and lying around the house but we couldn’t wait for the sun to come up.
